Who is the parent company of progressive?

Progressive is owned by its shareholders, since it is a publicly traded company. The company was co-founded in 1937 by Jack Green and Joseph M. Lewis, and is headquartered in Mayfield Village, Ohio. The company insures passenger vehicles, motorcycles, recreational vehicles, trailers, boats, PWC vehicles and commercial vehicles.

Progressive also offers home, life, pet and other insurance through select companies. In addition, Progressive offers auto insurance in Australia. The Progressive Corporation and Peter B. are founded.

A new business philosophy rejects the industry's groupthink that only corporate investments can be trusted for profit. Progressive prefers to guarantee profits over growth and paves its own way by setting rates for fair profits, even if that means that drivers sometimes choose insurers with lower prices. We represent more than 100 different insurance companies. However, only one company engages in a political conversation from time to time.

That's why I find myself writing this blog. I thought it was time to try to set the record straight. Progressive has always been a great company. From price to service, they're always on top.
