If you have already paid your premium for the policy period in full, Erie will reimburse you for the unused portion. Erie does not charge a cancellation fee or impose an early termination penalty. These Terms of Use, which include the Online Privacy Policy, govern your access to and use of the ERIEINSURANCE, COM SM website and the ERIE mobile application (together or individually, the “Site”).

For the purposes of these Terms of Use, “ERIE” refers to Erie Indemnity Company and the constituent entities of the Erie Insurance Group

Use of the Site is expressly conditioned on your acceptance of these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of the Terms of Use, you should not use the Site. For cancellation requests, coverage inquiries, or policy changes, contact your local ERIE agent. You can sign in to your online account to check your balance, billing history, or make a payment.

While ERIE will not be responsible for losses caused by the unauthorized use of your username account, you will be responsible for the losses of ERIE or others due to such unauthorized use. FORTUNE and FORTUNE Media IP Limited are not affiliated with ERIE Insurance nor do they promote their products or services. When the interactive voice response system prompts you, say “cancel the insurance policy” and then “automatic” if you are going to cancel your car insurance policy. The Site is not intended to provide information about insurance products in any state in which ERIE is not licensed to operate.

Comprehensive insurance is often taken out in conjunction with collision insurance so that the policyholder is protected against both accidents related and non-accident related damages. Comprehensive insurance coverage limits are determined based on the actual cash value of the vehicle, so the more a car is worth, the more the insurer will pay in the event of a claim. FOR FULL DETAILS ON ANY POLICY OR SERVICE OFFERED BY ANY ERIE COMPANY, PLEASE CONTACT YOUR LOCAL ERIE AGENT. Search for your local ERIE agent now or call (800) 458-0811 during business hours to find an ERIE agent near you.

You agree that any material or information that you or individuals acting on your behalf provide to ERIE will not be considered confidential or proprietary to you, except to the extent that it is non-public personal information covered by the Erie Insurance Group Privacy Notice. In addition, ERIE may cancel, block, or otherwise inhibit access to any visitor to the Site that ERIE believes has violated any of these Terms of Use, including by blocking any IP address or other indication of the source of the behavior, content, or use of the Site that violates these Terms of Use. ERIE does not want you to send any confidential or proprietary information to ERIE through the Site, except as expressly or implicitly indicated by the functionality of the Site. ERIE will not send you a paper copy of any document unless you request it, ERIE deems it appropriate, or ERIE is legally required to do so.

ERIE may cancel your username account and, to the extent possible, your access to the Site if ERIE determines that you have taken any action in violation of these Terms of Use. ERIE makes the Site available to you, subject to your acceptance of these Terms of Use, free of charge, for the purpose of providing you with information about ERIE, its services and insurance services in general. Comprehensive insurance covers damage to your car caused by events other than collisions with other vehicles or stationary objects. For example, you should have Erie update your mailing address or vehicle information if you're moving or buying a new car.
